November Spiritual Fitness Day 8

In order to guard our hearts, we must avoid “ailments” like anger, greed, temptation and pride. I know that for me personally, I have a daily battle with Satan who tries to fill my mind/heart with these things, and I have to call on Christ constantly to rebuke them and to stay focused on Him and His truths.

We need to protect our identity in Christ by guarding our hearts from the evil ways of the enemy. He is crafty and will be constantly trying to make us focus our attention on things that are not of God. Stay strong in your battle and like Paul tells us in

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things”  Philippians 4:8
